Hey, it's been a while since I last sent you an email, so I thought it would be helpful to get you up to date.
β
Some updates:
- I bet you noticed this email looks a bit different. I changed newsletter providers from MailerLite to Convert Kit.
- I got a job at an Aviation Tech company as a social media coordinator, which accidentally turned into me becoming a producer for a show, a videographer for their content, a baby lawyer (totally joking, but I essentially negotiate with content creators from all over the world), and head of an internship program in the marketing department. This has absorbed an incredible amount of time which caused me to take a break from creating for my own platforms, but now that I have spent a few months there, I am starting to manage juggling all of it. Another reason this is incredibly exciting is January 2023 I received a full scholarship to get my private pilots license (PPL) and the company went out of business which means I stopped flight training. Fast forward to today, I will be able to start training here soon since the company has a fun bonus of providing their employees with an annual flight stipend!
- I am closing the Modern Day Polymath shop for the time being. I realized that it was taking away too much of my time away from creating video content, which is essentially what I would like to be primarily focusing on long term.
- I am working on a Patreon account. I am debating on what kind of content I will have on there. I was onset shooting a Google product, and my direct client tried convincing me to create a video course. Also, working with so many different artists, I've been approached with questions asking for some consultations on content creation. I figured that Patreon would be a good place for me to start. Of course this is an on going project, so I will keep you updated as time goes on. Aiming to have it live by October. π
- I am in the process of creating another video for Tyler and Iβs YouTube channel. This was sort of at the back of my mind, but I looked on the platform a couple of days ago and saw that some people were interested in the progress of us working on our Porsche Boxster.
- I'm making a new website so that I could document all the big projects I am working on in one place. This new website which has cost me my sanity, hundreds of dollars worth of caffeine and is hilariously bare bones.
- I became a creator for a learning app and will be featured on the app's home page next week!
- I am being featured in a magazine for the first time as a content creator :)
- I learned new words: fuff, rigamarole, trebuchet.

Some inspiring things my friends are doing. These accomplishments have been incredibly thought provoking and rewarding to see:
- My friend putting her whole life in a suitcase and aiming to visit 30 countries before she turns 30.
- ^ Same friend: Spending months putting together a gala to give away a scholarship.
- My friend restructuring his entire business after the busiest season of his life.
- My friend changing the trajectory of her career by moving to Denmark.
- My friend getting the opportunity to travel internationally to become a makeup artist.
- My friends buying a house for international students coming to the United States to learn how to be a pilot AND they are making an app.
- My friend getting laid off from a tech company, but then immediately finding an incredible role where she is able to continue being a software engineer but in an environment where she can help people.
- My childhood best friend moving to Japan with her husband
- One of my best friends finishing her first year at med school
